 About

I trained as a massage therapist at World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts. I have spent most of my career working aside chiropractors, but I have dipped my toes into spa scene from time to time, and taught a little yoga when I first started out.

I love food and working with my hands. Outside of work you will either find me experimenting in the kitchen or training at the local boxing gym. I'm also a big fan of horror movies and fiction novels.
Current favorite read: Sea Wolf by Jack London. I love a good villain.

 Testimonials

Ed, Retired Professor

I’ve seen a lot of massage therapists in my 70+ years, and in my experience, Erik De Leon is tops. When he asks what’s going on with my body, what needs attention, he really listens. He plans our session accordingly, drawing on his impressive mastery of specific massage approaches and procedures. As his client, I always feel like I’m the focus of his attention. He’ll chat if I feel like chatting, remains silent if that’s what I prefer. He’s strong and knows how to go deep, but does so slowly, attending to my response. Most important, next day I feel great.

Connie, from the
Pacific Northwest

I was visiting friends in Palo Alto and due to pain from severe osteoarthritis in my right knee it was becoming difficult to walk.(age 64) The receptionist asked me specific questions and set me up with the person best trained to meet my needs. I wanted therapeutic bodywork and not a foo-foo massage. She referred me to ERIK and I received the appointment that day!  The bodywork Erik delivered was perfect! Awesome! Best ever! I immediately felt better and could walk with far less pain. I was amazed that I felt so much better. I hope he is still working here when I am in town again.

Talia, Esthetician

Erik is an amazing massage therapist. I've been seeing him for over a year now to help with TMJ pain along with pain related to stress from being an esthetician. He is so knowledgeable and I always leave my sessions knowing I'm going to be feeling better the next day. Having chronic pain is so difficult, but finding Erik has made dealing with it much easier.
